To me, the coral reefs and for that matter, the undersea world is beautiful and mysitfying. I don't believe that i am the only one who feels this way. Jules Verne thought wonderous things of the under water world and sea farers have described for time immemorial all manner of sea monsters of unimaginable size. Stories have even been told of whales being found with giant suction cup marks on them from engaging a deep sea beast. There are also creatures who can live by the thermal vents deep within the sea where no light penetrates. These animals are often eery phosflourescent colors that dazzle the eyes.

My point is that there is an entire undersea world that is utterly magical. And because we do not experience it, except for in school books, it seems distant and inconsequestial. The video Amazonite is about the interconnectedness of us all. Rainforest to reef, the earth is me. Though the rainforest and the coral may seem so distant and irrelevant, they are infact a part of us that we are affecting everyday by our actions.
